Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director for the new theatre company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director for Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 to 2019 having been an actor and board member of SSC since 2011. She was also the producer and costume/set designer writer/composer, and the text coach for SSC while she served as the Artistic Director of SSC. Although she was usually the leader of her ensembles, her first directing role was with SSC King Lear. Apart from acting, she's also worked on a number of games shows. The daughter of scientist Richard F. Post and his poet wife Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her two siblings. She studied at Las Lomas High School where she was a cheerleader. She briefly attended Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Her previous marriage was with Stephen Knox. She has been married since 1982 to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer, with who she has two daughters. Post has inspired numerous Hollywood actors since she's an outstanding actress, as well as ideal wife and parent.
