Allison Brooks Janney, an American actress. Her fame is based on her performances on screen and stage. She's also received nominations for two Tony Awards and has won an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award and a Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Allison Janney rose to fame following a stint of nearly two decades playing regional stage productions. Her role as White House press secretary C.J. quickly became a hit. Gregg in The West Wing (1999-2006) an acclaimed and well-loved television drama. Allison Janney is a natural late blossomer. The time she got her Ohio driver's license a full year later at age 17. Janney, who has been wearing a wig from the very beginning of the show and was unafraid. Fallon stated, "So, now everybody is aware that Janney has been sporting the wig for her show since it began. Janney is planning to keep her wig as to keep as a souvenir. The first few seasons of the show there was a report that she made as much as $125,000 per episode. It is estimated that at the end of the third and fourth season however that Faris as well as the co-star Allison Janey were earning $200,000 per episode.
